Ty for any reply + please note, im not pc savvy so if you can dumb down the hell, i appreciate it. my drivers are fully updated according to gforce programme. Is it because the net frameworks installed? so i did not need the file? Where have i gone wrong and how can i fix this, Myn is repeatedly crashing even though i have already downloaded and installed that DirectX run time. This is the same error my father got except that download fixed his You can just download and install the setup on top of existing installation and everything will be ok. It can also be useful in case you are having problems with the DirectX installation like missing DLLs etc. Please ensure that Directx 9.0c or higher is installed. The web installer will automatically download the right and the latest version of DirectX for your Windows computer.

However much to my dismay, the game is crashing, and displaying "Could not initialize Direct3D. So I already had the file installed ready so I wouldnt need to download it to fix it, I have today just reinstalled LOTRO on my new PC, and my Net.Frameworks installed (perhaps this is where i have gone wrong), I then installed the DirectX Runtime before trying the game first, as i figured myn would crash out too, due to it being a windows 10/dx problem?

He logged on and crashed out changing graphics with the same error that I am getting, he google'd it and found out he had to install DirectX Runtime fix and it worked. My father recently also got a new computer, and reinstalled LOTRO, on his installation the Net.Framework files error messaged and didn't install, I will explain a step by step of my problem (so please be patient) My new pc arrived today, and having just downloaded + patched LOTRO I am getting a recurring error.
